It's Time for an Adoption Day Party!
Find all the information you need for Adoption Day below. We can’t wait to meet you and pass your sweet new puppy into your arms! Will there be tears? Laughter? Squeals? Probably all three! Oh, I’m sure you’ll be excited too, of course.
Adoption Day: June 3, 4:00-5:00 p.m.

Our Elite clients (and those who purchased Puppy Preschool à la carte) will have their Adoption Day on June 3 but the wait will be so worth it! After two extra weeks of potty and crate training, as well as socialization to all kinds of environmental exposures, your puppy is off to a great start! We look forward to meeting you in person, as well as celebrating the new member of your family!
Adoption Day will be quick and easy, since all of our paperwork is already complete. First you’ll sanitize as you come into our home. Next, we’ll place your puppy into your arms. (Eek! So exciting!) We’ll take a quick picture of your family with its newest member! Then you’ll receive your Elite Go Home Bag, with everything you need for traveling – except a travel crate, collar, and leash. And last but not least, we’ll send you home with a little goodie bag for the humans. Welcome home, little one!

Adoption Day Checklist
The following items must be completed before we can release your puppy to you on Adoption Day.
Read, sign, and submit the contract here.
Follow the instructions to register your puppy’s Fi Nano Microchip here. (Registration is free.)
Microchip numbers will be sent once they are placed and final payments have been made.
Sign up to receive 30 days of free Trupanion Insurance here.
Make an appointment to see your vet within 72 hours of Adoption Day for a “well-puppy check.”

You will need to bring an XS collar for your puppy and a lightweight leash. Even if you plan on carrying your puppy in your arms, puppies have been known to escape when in new situations. Keep your puppy’s collar and leash on during travel! Depending on the distance to your home, you may want to bring a water bowl for the car and water for the drive home. (Important: keep all paws ‘four off the floor’ when you travel and avoid dog and pet rest areas as your pet is not fully vaccinated!)
If you are flying home, you will also need a softsided, FAA approved travel carrier.
