After placing your reservation fee, Elite and Premium clients will be given access the Puppy Parent Portal. Photos and videos of the litter are uploaded daily so you can fall in love with your puppy before bringing them home with you.
Our program begins long before a puppy is born.
Countless hours of research, study, and training has gone into our program. We have studied the Empowered Breeder method from Jeanette Forey, creator of The Badass Breeder, in depth, including attending in person training events. We’ve studied genetics to understand how to develop the healthiest puppies we can in the colors you love. We are intentional with our dam and sire pairings to best match genetics and temperament.
Once born, puppies stay in their whelping box just feet from our bed during the first four weeks of life. They go through ENS (early neurological stimulation) to and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) daily and begin a gentle touch tolerance program. As their eyes and ears begin to open, we stimulate their senses by providing age appropriate items for them to explore and navigate.

We gently guide puppies through toddlerhood.
At four weeks, puppies are moved into the hustle and bustle of family life with children. They are introduced to new challenges and obstacles as well as exposed to different sights, sounds, and smells each day. The curriculum is designed to teach them. We work on potty training and introduce crate training during this time.
Before go home day, each puppy is assessed for temperament. This assessment is crucial for giving puppies a voice. With the information from the evaluation, we can guide you in choosing the best dog for your unique situation. Whether you have young children or are empty nesters who travel frequently, we can help match a puppy best suited to the life you live. Evaluations are filmed and placed on our private Google Photos site with helpful feedback to help you choose your puppies.
After evaluations have been completed, it’s time to choose your puppy! Puppy Pick Day is so exciting! Families will choose their puppy based on the package they select- so be sure to reserve your puppy today!

It's time for Adoption Day!
Puppies are fully prepared to go home by completing vet checks, microchipping, routine deworming, and their first vaccinations. We never send puppies home before 8 weeks old; this time spent with their mother and littermates is crucial for their development and socialization.
Adoption Day for Basic and Premium Clients:
These puppies will go home on Adoption Day at 8 weeks old. Puppies will be sent home with an adoption certificate and a Basic or Premium Go Home Bag designed to ease the transition home.
Adoption Day our Elite clients:
Puppies stay with us for an additional 2 weeks, working on crate training, potty training, socialization, and more. They will go home on Adoption Day with an adoption certificate and an Elite Go Home Bag after they have graduated Puppy Preschool.
Frequently Asked Questions
ENS stands for Early Neurological Stimulation. This is done from days 3-21 of life. It involves applying gentle stressors to the puppies. You can read more about it here.
ESI stands for Early Scent Introduction. It involves introducing a puppy to a new smell for a few seconds each day for the first few weeks of life. It has shown to enhance a dog’s nose awareness and confidence.
Evaluations assess for twelve traits. Some of these traits are fixed (unchangeable), and some are adaptable with training. The fixed traits are:

Puppies are chosen after temperament evaluations at 7 weeks. Elite clients choose first, followed by Premium and Basic clients. On selection day, each client will have approximately 30 minutes to select their puppy virtually.
Please note, we do not create a reservation list based on gender or color. Male and female puppies have shown to have very little differences after spaying and neutering. In our program, boys are just as valuable and worthy as girls, so we do not adjust our pricing based on gender
Adoption Day will be set after all puppies receive their vet clearances. Puppies will not go home before 8 weeks of age. If you are unable to attend Adoption Day, you will choose your puppy virtually based on order of reservation fee. A private appointment to pick up your puppy will be scheduled after the other puppies have gone home.
Every Go Home Bag include a canvas tote with our logo on it, an adoption certificate, a travel kit (contains clean up supplies for any accidents on the way home!), a digital photo of your newborn puppy, one month free of Trupanion Pet Insurance, microchip registration information, a transition bag of puppy food, a toy, and a blanket with Mama and siblings’ scent, veterinarian certification and immunization information.
Elite Go Home Bag:
Elite clients receive all of the above and a Saranoni Pet Blanket (instead of our standard blanket) sample treats and an antler chew from Red Fern Companions, an antler chew, a Calmeroos Puppy plush with heartbeat and heat packs, and a puppy training handbook and 2 framed photos of your puppy as a newborn and at 7 weeks old. Because puppies are extremely susceptible to deadly diseases, and for the general safety of both humans and pets in our home, we do not permit clients to visit our home prior to Adoption Day.
We post photos and videos on our Instagram and Facebook pages frequently, and Elite and Premium clients have access to daily updates in the Puppy Parent Portal. We believe in being transparent about where puppies are being raised and are happy to give you a virtual tour upon request.
